Terms of Service & Disclaimer
These Terms govern your use of FedRetireCheck (the "Service"). By using the Service or purchasing a report, you agree to these Terms. Please read the disclaimer below carefully — it is the most important part.
Not affiliated with the government
FedRetireCheck is an independent, private product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the United States government, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), the Social Security Administration, or any agency. Official benefit determinations are made solely by OPM. Our estimates may differ from your agency's or OPM's official figures.
Accuracy and assumptions
Our calculations are performed by deterministic software implementing published federal rules, and each figure cites the rule it relies on. However, retirement rules contain exceptions, change over time, and depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. We do not guarantee that any estimate will match your final, official benefit. You are responsible for verifying your inputs and your results with your HR benefits office and official OPM, TSP, and SSA sources.
Founder report pricing, delivery, and refunds
- The founder version of the Federal Retirement Readiness Report is offered at $49 while reports are manually reviewed before delivery. The expected regular price is $99.
- Paid reports are generated from the information you provide, manually reviewed, and emailed within 1 business day after your completed intake is submitted.
- If your situation is outside the supported scope for the current report workflow, we will tell you and refund the purchase rather than deliver a report we cannot stand behind.
- Refund requests can be sent to support@fedretirecheck.com.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes, to provide accurate information, and not to misuse, copy, scrape, resell, or attempt to disrupt the Service. The content, software, and materials on FedRetireCheck are our intellectual property and are provided for your personal use only.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. FedRetireCheck and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any decision you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
